Subscribe to Friends of RAMP and be the first to receive updates, refugee stories, news, and ways you can support RAMP's mission to build a "Bridge to a New Life" for refugee families and individuals to transition to productive lives of dignity, safety, and hope!
As we start to slow down to enjoy time with family, friends, and loved ones, we are grateful for our volunteers and donors who make it possible for RAMP to welcome and support new refugee families, the most recent, settled into an apartment last week!
We ask that while planning for your Thanksgiving holiday, please think about the refugee families served by RAMP volunteers and add
a contribution to RAMP to your to-do list. Your contribution to RAMP will mean that families recently arrived from Central America, Afghanistan and Syria, can benefit from the services offered by RAMP.
RAMP is proud to be a Nonprofit Sponsor at the Morris County Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) Business Connections Event. Members of RAMP's Employment Committee will be in attendance.

‘We need to take a closer look at what immigrants contribute to America’
In New Jersey, where one in four residents are immigrants, it’s hardly surprising that there would be “on the ground” forces at work. In Morris County, for example, a small nonprofit, RAMP, aims to do what New York is doing on a lesser scale.
YOU ARE INVITED!
Join RAMP for a special opportunity to meet RAMP volunteers and members of RAMP’s Board of Trustees. Hear important updates, have a chance to network, learn about ways to get involved and be part of building a ‘Bridge to a New Life’ for our refugee families.
Saturday, November 9
2:30pm - 4:30pm
The Presbyterian Church in Morristown
65 South Street, Morristown, NJ 07960
With sadness, we share the obituary of Leo Rogers, one of RAMP's original members and one of its most active and dedicated.
"I feel blessed to have had Leo as a friend. RAMP volunteers and families were blessed to have had his wisdom, his passion, and his humor. I extend our wishes for peace and comfort to the family and all who miss him."
Carol Graham
RAMP Board President
Max (14) and Luna (16) from our first RAMP family became U.S. citizens at a ceremony on Jan 27, 2024. Their mother, Duha K., who is also a U.S. citizen, stands proudly by her two youngest children.
Hussain, his wife, Arifa, and their three children were settled in Boonton after fleeing the Taliban. Sponsorship from one of the refugee agencies had expired after a few months and RAMP was able to step up to provide additional services that improved the family's foundation for independence and job stability.
Villa Walsh student, Ines Lemee, leads a fundraiser to raise money for RAMP. An impassioned RAMP volunteer, along with her mother, Ines felt strongly about sharing the stories of refugee resettlement. After an assembly, Villa Walsh created a fundraiser that contributed over $900 to RAMP.
Please note: Community Foundation of New Jersey is referenced in this video; RAMP is now operating as an independent 501(c)(3).
