"I am from a curious eight-year-old in a new country
to a young teenager comfortable in her new home.
I’m from fear of being killed in civil war to living a peaceful life,
where I can dream of becoming a pediatrician.
From worrying about will I get hit with falling metal
to being excited about each new day.
From one adult landlord friend in Turkey
to a dozen RAMP volunteer tutors and friends…"

Dear Friends of RAMP,
Thank you for being a supporter of RAMP. We are sure you have heard that there is now an indefinite hold on the refugee resettlement and placement program.
While we are unsure what the future will bring, RAMP is currently supporting a refugee mother and daughter from El Salvador. In a few weeks, we will be welcoming a family of four who arrived in November from Afghanistan. These two families will be with RAMP for at least the next 12 to 15 months. We look forward to supporting them in their journey.
Jackie Bay has been a family coordinator for two families and her relationships with them have become very personal. Jackie says she's had innumerable volunteer roles in her life, but this is the best one she's ever had. "It's a real human connection. You get to participate in the highlights of people's lives."
"There are so many problems in the world that I can't solve, but I can make a big difference to these families."
